Job Overview
We are looking for a Licensed Master Electrician with experience or interest in home technology integration. This position is critical to reducing outsourced electrical work, supporting smart home installations, and enabling future growth into whole-home electrical services. You’ll also play a role in the broader technology team, supporting efforts to scale the lighting division and streamline field operations.
This is not just a "tools-on" role—this is an opportunity for someone with the technical chops and the professionalism to handle permit pulling and client interactions with ease.
Responsibilities

Pull electrical permits in Virginia and serve as the company’s Qualifying Agent.

Relocating or installing outlets (e.g., behind TVs or for smart devices

Trim-outs for Lutron panels

Supporting whole-home electrical projects

Support the technology team by assisting in lighting and shading system installations.

Collaborate with leadership to create and refine operational procedures.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical work with AV/control systems.

Participate in broader company initiatives to improve field efficiency and reduce subcontracting.

May occasionally support builder relationships and assist with expanding lighting fixture sales.
Qualifications

Active Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required)

Willingness and ability to serve as Qualifying Agent and pull permits

Experience in or exposure to Lutron lighting/shading systems (preferred)

Familiarity with low-voltage integration work is a plus

Comfortable with administrative aspects of permitting and compliance
