Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on commercial and residential construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete projects efficiently and accurately
• Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs and project costs while adhering to project budgets
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate work seamlessly on-site
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems in various settings
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge of piping systems
• Skilled in welding, pipe threading, assembly, remodeling, and general maintenance tasks
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and basic math calculations for project planning
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, HVAC equipment, and other construction machinery confidently
• Strong field service skills with experience on construction sites or in maintenance environments
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and handyman skills to support diverse project needs
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for site transportation purposes
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or working at heights
• Ability to read technical schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately
