Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Medical Assistant (MA) – ENT Clinic

About the Opportunity
Sound Health Services is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing ENT practice. We are also open to considering experienced Medical Assistants (MA) with strong clinical backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced specialty clinic where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while working closely with providers.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and maintain exam rooms in accordance with clinical protocols
• Accurately obtain and document vital signs and patient medical history in the EMR
• Assist providers during exams and in-office procedures
• Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and equipment
• Respond to patient phone calls and provide timely, professional follow-up
• Support clinical workflow to ensure efficiency and exceptional patient experience
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations

Qualifications

• LPN preferred; will consider experienced Medical Assistants
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA) strongly preferred for MA candidates
• Prior clinical experience required; ENT experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with EMR systems strongly preferred

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Fast-paced clinical setting requiring standing and walking for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to communicable diseases consistent with a healthcare environment
• May require occasional evening hours
