Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are essential to how that care is delivered every day. They are responsible for consistent, hands-on patient care, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring standards are upheld in a fast-paced, structured environment.

LPNs at Ivy:

  • Provide direct patient care and medication administration
  • Support intake, sick call, and chronic care workflows
  • Collaborate with RNs, providers, and facility staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow protocols
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability and professionalism

They lead through reliability, consistency, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver Patient Care
  • Perform basic assessments and report changes in patient condition
  • Assist with sick call, intake screenings, and chronic care clinics
  • Respond to urgent needs within scope and escalate appropriately
  • Document all care in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support Clinical Operations
  • Maintain organized and efficient workflows
  • Follow all clinical protocols and procedures
  • Assist with daily operations to ensure continuity of care
  • Collaborate with the Team
  • Work closely with RNs, providers, and Medical Care Staff
  • Communicate clearly and promptly regarding patient needs
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive environment
  • Maintain Safety and Standards
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Adhere to facility procedures and security guidelines
  • Maintain professionalism in a correctional setting

Work Location: Madison County Jail - in Person

Pay Range: $31 - $38 per hour

Shift: 8am -3 pm

Pay: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour
