Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) About Ivy and This Role

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are essential to how that care is delivered every day. They are responsible for consistent, hands-on patient care, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring standards are upheld in a fast-paced, structured environment.
LPNs at Ivy:
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration
- Support intake, sick call, and chronic care workflows
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and facility staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow protocols
- Reinforce a culture of accountability and professionalism
They lead through reliability, consistency, and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver Patient Care
- Perform basic assessments and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with sick call, intake screenings, and chronic care clinics
- Respond to urgent needs within scope and escalate appropriately
- Document all care in a timely and accurate manner
- Support Clinical Operations
- Maintain organized and efficient workflows
- Follow all clinical protocols and procedures
- Assist with daily operations to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with the Team
- Work closely with RNs, providers, and Medical Care Staff
- Communicate clearly and promptly regarding patient needs
- Support team members and contribute to a positive environment
- Maintain Safety and Standards
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Adhere to facility procedures and security guidelines
- Maintain professionalism in a correctional setting
