Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) SCA

Position Description:

In this role, youll be hands-on in supporting federal individuals served through the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationwhile collaborating with a supportive team of healthcare professionals.

What Youll Do

• Assist in assessing individuals served physical, psychological, and social needs
• Contribute to individualized treatment planning with RNs and other team members
• Implement treatment plans, including diagnostic tests and individuals served teaching
• Administer medications safely (including IV therapy, when certified)
• Monitor and document individuals served care using SOAP charting
• Support minor medical or surgical procedures as directed
• Respond to health emergencies with confidence and professionalism
• Ensure controlled substances and medical supplies are properly counted and secured

What Were Looking For

Education

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (required)

Experience

• At least 1 year of acute medical experience (required)

Licenses/Certifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice or multi-state compact license (required)
• Must pass a Public Trust background check (required)
