Position Overview:
The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (W2) will provide high-quality mental health counseling services to clients in a supportive and therapeutic environment. The LPC will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Licensed Professional Counselors conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients’ mental health needs.

Licensed Professional Counselors develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and client goals.

LPCs provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities.

LPCs maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to support client care.

Stay current with best practices in mental health counseling and participate in ongoing professional development.

Uphold ethical and legal standards in counseling practice and client confidentiality.

Acting Clinical Supervisor on Saturdays for the Outpatient clinic; individual supervision with therapists as assigned.

Reviewing and approving clinical documentation for the IBHS department as needed.
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

Current LPC license in the state of practice.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clients.

Experience with various therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, etc.).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a clinical setting or with specific populations (e.g., adolescents, trauma, substance abuse).

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Bilingual skills are a plus.
