European Bistro is seeking an experienced Line Cook to support back-of-house operations. This role is ideal for a skilled culinary professional who excels on the line, maintains high-quality plating, and works collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.

What you’ll do

  • Cook on the line for Brunch and Dinner with consistency and precision
  • Assist in setup and station preparation for all service periods
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, speed, and plating during peak service
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards to ensure consistency
  • Support ticket times and help manage line flow during busy periods
  • Uphold food safety, sanitation, and Health Department compliance
  • Help monitor waste, portion control, and inventory accuracy
  • Communicate clearly with teammates to ensure smooth service
  • Adapt to changes in menu, specials, and daily prep needs as directed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and proper equipment care
  • Collaborate with FOH and BOH leadership on daily operations and quality goals

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a line cook or equivalent in a professional kitchen
  • Breakfast/egg poaching experience is a must!
  • Strong background in an upscale casual environment
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure across all service periods
  • Excellent knife skills, culinary technique, and plating accuracy
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and Health Department guidelines
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work Brunch and Dinner shifts (as needed)
