JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Line Cook
REPORTS TO: Chef De Cuisine
DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage
motivated and passionate culinary team members to join our Culinary Department. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure each dish is prepared, plated, and served to our guests on time, maintaining the quality and consistency that ensures an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to the menu and established recipes.
- Food Plating and Temperature: Ensure food is plated attractively and served at the correct temperature.
- Portion Control: Follow portion guidelines to maintain consistency and avoid waste.
- Storage Compliance: Store food products in accordance with safety practices (e.g., refrigeration) to ensure freshness and prevent contamination.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including proper use of kitchen equipment, utensils, and cooking surfaces.
- Daily Prep Lists: Create daily prep and item lists for your station to ensure smooth operation.
- Team Support: Collaborate with kitchen staff and help fill in roles as needed to maintain service flow during peak hours.
- Operational Support: Actively assist with ensuring all operational tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as necessary to support kitchen operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Kitchen Sanitation and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations, kitchen cleanliness, and sanitation standards. The Kitchen will Stay Chef ready at all times. It will be a open kitchen
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with kitchen staff and work cohesively under pressure.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Uniform and Hygiene: Ensure adherence to proper uniform standards and hygiene practices, including handwashing and glove use.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes weighing 10-35 lbs, and perform all duties in a busy kitchen environment.

Working Hours:

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
