Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Line Man with experience in 11 kV overhead line operations. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead electrical lines, ensuring safe and reliable power distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair 11 kV overhead lines, poles, and associated equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of overhead lines to identify faults or potential issues.
• Assist in connecting and disconnecting lines safely during maintenance or emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, electrical codes, and company regulations.
• Respond promptly to outages or electrical faults to restore power efficiently.
• Use proper tools, equipment, and personal protective gear while working on lines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, faults, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other line personnel for safe and efficient operations.
• Train and guide junior staff or helpers on safety practices and line work techniques.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or ITI certificate in Electrical / Line Worker or equivalent.
• Proven experience in handling 11 kV overhead lines in the construction or utility sector.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for working on high-voltage lines.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Good understanding of electrical distribution systems and components.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual and technical tasks associated with line work.
