Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed memoranda, legal briefs, and advisory opinions to support litigation, internal investigations, and client counseling efforts.
  • Draft and revise a wide range of client documents, including employment policies, employee handbooks, training materials, separation agreements, and other employment documents.
  • Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including depositions, document production, interrogatories, and requests for admissions, while coordinating with opposing counsel and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Perform thorough fact-gathering activities, including collecting, organizing, and synthesizing relevant documents, conducting detailed interviews with witnesses, and maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients.
  • Represent clients before courts and administrative bodies, including motion practice and hearings.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of statutes, legal decisions, ordinances, and other governing legal authority, with a focus on employment law and related areas.
  • Provide support through all stages of litigation, mediation, and trial preparation in single-plaintiff employment cases and wage-and-hour class actions.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top 50 ABA accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation
  • Work is full time onsite in the SF office

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
