Livestock Specialist - Zayed City, UAE (Preference for Indians and English Speakers)

We are looking for a Livestock Specialist to join our team in Zayed City, United Arab Emirates on a contract basis. The right candidate should have experience in livestock management, husbandry, and animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice and support to the team and ensure that all livestock operations are conducted to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals, carry out routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and feed supplies.
• Train staff on proper care techniques, provide guidance on animal nutrition requirements.
• Conduct investigations into animal welfare issues as they arise, develop new strategies for improving animal care.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills in English (preference for Indian nationals).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Understanding of regulations related to livestock management and husbandry practices in the UAE region.
