Licensed Mental Health Professional will provide clinical supervision for our Qualified Mental Health Professionals, as well as provide highly skilled assessments and direct care for a specialized client population within our company (Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program.)

Bridgepoint Services, LLC. is seeking licensed mental health professionals. You must be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a LPC, LCSW, LMHP-R, or LMHP-S with experience providing mental health services to adults. One must have the following:
- Understanding of serious mental illness in adults
- Strong clinical and professional boundaries
- Ability to focus on outcomes and individualized care
- Ability to coordinate with various service providers, insurance companies and family members to achieve positive outcomes and prevent the individual's risk for hospitalization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Participation in monthly clinical supervision
- Submission of progress note, quarterly report and other clinical documentation in a timely manner
Responsibilities:
- Prepares written diagnostic assessments to be conducted face to face, assessing clients from multiple perspectives, including, psychological/emotional, social, academic, medical, behavioral, substance abuse, skills, strengths, barriers to economic self-sufficiency, treatment history, and others, and utilizing various assessment instruments.
- Prepare addendums to the initial assessment that describes any new information impacting care, progress and interventions to date, a description of the rationale for continued stay
- Oversee and approve each assessment completed.
- Complete service authorization requests and continued stay requests ensuring the individual meets medical necessity criteria.
- Creating mental health worker in creating an initial ISP within 24 hours and an ISP within 30 days of treatment. Sign off on each initial ISP and ISP personally in a timely manner. Complete updates to the ISP as needed.
- Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Provide supervision to (QMHPs) providing case management services. Meets bi-monthly with QMHPs to provide clinical guidance, assess dynamics and needs of each case, determine the appropriateness of strategies, and assess progress of service delivery and planning.
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy as it relates to program needs.
- Review QMHP daily progress notes and quarterly reports, checking for client progress, competence, and substantive documentation of services provided.
- Attend monthly staff meetings and provide clinical guidance to QMHP and staff of Bridgepoint Services, LLC.
- Perform clinical file reviews to ensure client files are in compliance with agency, DMAS, DBHDS and state code policies and procedures. Document clinical file review and make recommendations for changing as appropriate. Notify Executive Director of findings in a timely manner.
- Provide consulting and additional referrals to community resources as appropriate.
- Manage a small caseload of clients whenever needed.
- Stay abreast of DMAS, DBHDS, and State policies and procedures. Keep current with knowledge, availability, quality of community resources and professional trends.
- Assist the Executive Director with design and development of the clinical aspects of program services and appraising staff performance.
- Collaborates and coordinates with others service providers and professionals, such as attorneys, social workers, MCO’s, and probation/parole officers.
- Maintain license and/or certification.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, or completed a graduate degree and is under the direct personal supervision of a person licensed under Virginia law, who is working towards licensure, and who is in compliance with the appropriate Virginia licensing board may perform the functions of the LMHP for purposes and have Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field to include social work, gerontology, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, special education, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, criminal justice and human services counseling. This position also requires a valid driver’s license, automobile and telecommunications availability, excellent verbal and written skills; counseling and social work theories and techniques; and community resources. Strong writing and case conceptualization skills and reference to a methodological. The successful completion of a criminal history or background investigation is required.
