Role Description

This is a full-time, off-site role for a Dispatch/Load Booking .Responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling freight transportation, booking loads, maintaining communication with drivers, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. The role also involves liaising with customers, optimizing routes, and managing documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch operations, load booking, and logistics coordination
• Knowledge of transport regulations, freight services, and route optimization
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to interact with drivers and clients
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency in using dispatch management software and general computer literacy
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
• Bilingual abilities in English and French are an asset but not mandatory
• Prior experience in the transportation or freight forwarding industry is preferred
