Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greets visitors in a professional and friendly manner and ascertains nature of business and directs visitors to appropriate person(s)

Maintain a professional demeanor to include but not limited to practicing discretion and confidentiality during all interactions and situations with candidate, employees, and Company leaders
-
Work with hiring managers, Human Resources staff, and candidates to initiate the pre-employment screening process and guide the initial on-boarding process for all new hires, re-hires, and reinstated employees

Enter and maintain HRIS data (new hires, terminations, merit increases, promotions, employee evaluations, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner

Provide support to Training and Development Manager. As needed, present at New Hire Orientation
-
Scan and upload supporting documentation to employee accounts/profiles in the HRIS
-
Communicate with assigned payroll specialist and provide appropriate copies of supporting documents including but not limited to PANs, W-4s, direct deposits/Wisely, garnishments, Support Gaming License reimbursements, slip resistant shoe reimbursement, cash for minors to Corporate Payroll

Respond to employee questions about basic Human Resources policies and procedures

Refer employees to more experienced Human Resources staff or the Director of Human Resources when faced with higher level questions, issues, or situations

Provide guidance and support to applicants, employees, and managers on the proper use of the HRIS system
-
Refrain from providing false and/or inaccurate information when a response/answer is not immediately known
-
Regularly order supplies for Human Resources to include but not limited to office supplies, badges, ID holders, and lanyards
-
Active member of the Safety Committee. Attend monthly meetings and complete assigned Safety Inspections
-
Provide ad hoc reporting for property managers, as requested. Based on information requested, approval may be needed from the Director of Human Resources
-
Work with Corporate Human Resources regarding special programs including but not limited to the Wellness Program and holiday gift cards
-
Update the property Human Resources JECI intranet pages, as needed
-
As received - code, obtain approval for, as well as scan and log invoices, before sending to accounts payable
-
Receive and distribute property payroll checks every other Tuesday prior to 3:00 pm
-
Complete and submit employment verification information immediately upon receipt
-
Provide employment reference checks and verifications via email and/or fax
-
Issue ID badges and employee nametags and bus passes
-
Collect and deposit funds from Helping Hands fundraisers and track receipts. Restock the Helping Hands table, as needed
-
Posts announcements and Human Resource related information on bulletin boards, as necessary
-
Other related duties include but not limited to complying with the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Must have excellent computer Skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft suite

Minimum of three years Human Resources Representative experience

Understanding of Local, State, and Federal laws
-
aPHR, preferred
-
Must be literate and fluent in English

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, applicants, and others

Ability to multi-task

Colorado Support Gaming License
