We are currently seeking Sr. Logistics Analyst. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. You Will:
- Be responsible for the full cycle of shipment arrangements from placing bookings with the vendors to the point of the final delivery for both domestic and international shipments.
- Look for ways to decrease transit time on urgent freight requests while being cost effective.
- Keep track of all milestones of freight if it goes through the expedited process.
- Partner with merchandise vendors, domestic carriers, and DC locations to ensure timely pick up & deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal teams, as well as transportation providers and warehousing on seamless hand offs of critical shipments.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgement throughout daily operations and escalate issues that may cause delays in shipments.
- Communicate critical information to internal and external partners in clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solutions.
- Analyze and monitor KPI performance. Ability to understand & manage data reports while owning performance metrics that drive business results.
- Compile and present data analysis to management; measure performance criteria for all carriers and vendors, as well as performance metrics for internal evaluation.
- Hold meetings with the vendors teams via phone or web conferencing to flush out any issues or concerns, as well as just to coordinate timely shipments.
- Ensure proper approvals and financial governance policies are followed during expedited shipments
- Provide incredible responsiveness and attention to detail.
- Work within ERP and TMS systems.
- Be open to working extended shifts occasionally when dealing with expedited shipments.

You Bring:
- 3-5 years of Logistics and/or Supply Chain related experience.
- Prior international import/export experience, preferably with a 3PL
- A knack to be organized and plan how to divide your time between multiple shipment activities enabling you to work smarter – not harder – so that you get more done in less time, even when time is tight, and pressures are high.
- Great communication skills with internal customers, external suppliers as well as 3PL management. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Conflict resolution skills. You will need to be determined to revolve any conflicts presented for any shipment, ensuring on time delivery time against the required delivery date.
- Expertise attention to detail skills, seeing things normally missed by non-experts in logistics/transportation.
- Ability to make real time decisions with minimal guidance.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tableau, Smartsheet; 1 year of using Transportation Management System (TMS) with applicable understanding of the relations of various transactions. SAP is a plus.
