Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator will manage and oversee all logistics, dispatch, and transportation activities to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and on-time delivery of materials.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing logistics, dispatch scheduling, coordination with transporters, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily dispatches of finished goods and raw materials.
• Ensure timely deliveries to clients and inter-plant transfers.
• Liaise with production, sales, PPC, and accounts teams for dispatch planning.
• Arrange and track transport vehicles, ensuring compliance with documentation (LR, e-way bills, invoices, etc.).
• Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and clients for smooth material movement.
• Maintain dispatch records, delivery status, and transporter performance reports.
• Optimize freight costs and route efficiency.
• Ensure all logistics activities meet safety, legal, and quality standards.
• Support the team in inventory control and warehouse management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Commerce.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain coordination (preferably in the manufacturing or metal industry).
• Working knowledge of ERP systems / Excel / Dispatch tracking tools.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with transport documentation, GST, and e-way bill compliance.
