Job Title: Logistics Executive
Job Summary
The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end flow of goods, ensuring timely delivery, optimal inventory levels, and cost-efficient supply chain operations. This role involves working closely with vendors, transporters, warehouse teams, and internal departments to support smooth logistics and distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Coordination

Plan, organize, and manage the transportation of goods (inbound and outbound).

Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, transport agencies, and courier partners.

Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays or issues.

Ensure compliance with customs, import/export regulations, and company policies.
Warehouse & Inventory Management

Oversee inventory movements, storage, and stock accuracy.

Support warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.

Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Optimize warehouse space utilization and implement best practices.
Supplier & Customer Management

Liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries and order fulfillment.

Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, documentation, and queries.

Maintain strong vendor relationships for cost efficiency and service quality.
Documentation & Reporting

Prepare shipping documents (POs, invoices, packing lists, GRN, B/L, airway bills, etc.).

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory transactions, and logistics expenses.

Generate daily/weekly/monthly logistics performance reports.
Cost Control & Process Improvement

Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for savings.

Propose and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Support the development of SOPs for logistics and warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education

Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience

26years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or related roles (may vary depending on company requirements).
Technical Skills

Knowledge of logistics operations, shipping methods, and customs processes.

Proficient in MS Excel, ERP/WMS systems, and logistics tracking platforms.

Understanding of inventory management principles.
