Job Summary
The Inventory Officer is responsible for the accurate and efficient management of inventory within the Distribution Centre, supporting multiple concepts. This role encompasses receiving, issuing, handling, and meticulous accounting of inventory stock, ensuring a seamless balance between physical and system records. Key responsibilities include generating comprehensive inventory reports, conducting monthly stock reconciliations, and facilitating smooth inventory flow to meet operational demands.

Job Summary
The Inventory Officer is responsible for the accurate and efficient management of inventory within the Distribution Centre, supporting multiple concepts. This role encompasses receiving, issuing, handling, and meticulous accounting of inventory stock, ensuring a seamless balance between physical and system records. Key responsibilities include generating comprehensive inventory reports, conducting monthly stock reconciliations, and facilitating smooth inventory flow to meet operational demands.
Job Responsibilities
- Receiving and Verification: Accurately verify received shipments, documenting and resolving any discrepancies.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the counting, labeling, and tag allocation of in-house goods.
- System Transactions: Process Goods Received Notes (GRNs), commercial invoices, and freight/duty invoices within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Management Information System (MIS).
- Order Fulfillment: Manage store transfer orders, coordinate deliveries with the 3PL warehouse, and process store stock allocation requests.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately record transfers, customer delivery orders, sales returns, stock adjustments, and advertising/promotional write-offs in the WMS/MIS.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and maintain monthly delivery and transfer reports, and prepare comprehensive inventory-related reports.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all receiving, issuance, adjustments, and stock activities.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure proper arrangement and storage of goods and supplies.
- Task Execution: Complete all assigned duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Administrative Support: Manage stationery orders and provide general administrative support as needed.
- Delivery Monitoring: Prepare and maintain Delivery Monitoring Reports.
- Inventory Control: Conduct and ensure accurate cycle counts, monitor product expirations, and perform monthly inventory reconciliations.
- Reporting and Compliance: Meet all deadlines for daily, weekly, and monthly reports for Finance, HR, Stores, and Buyers.
- System Integration: Manage store incoming/outgoing inventory and stock requests/transfers using Navision.

Stock-Take Management: Plan and execute annual stock-take processes, ensuring reconciliation between the third-party system and Navision.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in warehousing and inventory management.
- Current residency in Bahrain.
- Bachelors Degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Ability to define performance metrics and conduct financial and metrics analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to establish performance measures and hold team members accountable.
- Analytical skills to evaluate cost performance data and implement operational improvements.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Exceptional customer service, analytical, supervisory, and leadership skills.
