At OEG Building Materials Company, our steel decks and rebar keep projects moving. As our Logistics Operations Manager, you’ll orchestrate trucks, drivers, and timelines so every delivery lands safely and on schedule. You’ll report to the Chief Operating Officer and serve as the hub connecting operations, customers, and the road.
Morning starts with route finalization—matching drivers, equipment, and loads to the day’s priorities across the Tri-State and Northeast corridor. You review hours-of-service, verify U.S. DOT compliance, and ensure each route packet includes keys, tickets, maps, and backhaul purchase orders. Throughout the day, you coordinate pickups and deliveries, field calls, reroute as conditions change, and coach drivers for both performance and customer care. You’ll approve fleet repairs, track monthly miles and fuel usage, and audit manifests and on-road behavior to keep quality and safety high.
