Linx Integrated is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Service Technician to join our team supporting fire alarm, access control, Area of Refuge, and other critical low-voltage building systems. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems for a variety of customers while delivering excellent service and technical expertise onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Service & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and test fire alarm, access control, Area of Refuge, and related low-voltage systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Complete scheduled service, inspections, and testing to ensure system reliability and code compliance.
- Customer Support: Provide professional, responsive service and communicate repair needs, recommendations, and status updates clearly.
- Site Work: Perform field installations of devices, panel terminations, and system programming upgrades as needed.
- Documentation: Complete service reports, redlines/as-builts, material usage records, and deficiency lists accurately and on time.
- Code Compliance: Work in accordance with NFPA, NEC, local/state code, and company safety standards.
- Scheduling Coordination: Communicate with service dispatch and/or project leads to ensure efficient daily routing.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Washington State Electrician Journeyman License EL06 or EL01 required. NICET II+ in Fire Alarm preferred; FA-1 helpful.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of fire alarm or low-voltage service experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to read drawings and spec sheets
- Familiarity with system programming and diagnostic tools
- Proficiency with tablets, email, MS Office; Bluebeam/Procore experience a plus
- Communication: Able to communicate findings to customers, service coordinators, and peers clearly and professionally.
- Work Ethic: Highly dependable, solution-oriented, and focused on quality.
- Travel: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites across the Puget Sound area. Must have a driving record that meets insurance requirements.
- Requirements: Must pass fair chance background check and drug test.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
