Job Summary
The Loyalty Business Intelligence & Data Analytics is responsible for driving data strategy, performance analytics, forecasting, and reporting for the loyalty program. The role also manages the Loyalty Management System (LMS), oversees points reconciliation with partners, and ensures fraud prevention and compliance standards are upheld. The position plays a key role in enabling data-driven decisions, managing technical platforms, and supporting strategic initiatives across the loyalty ecosystem.

The Loyalty Business Intelligence & Data Analytics is responsible for driving data strategy, performance analytics, forecasting, and reporting for the loyalty program. The role also manages the Loyalty Management System (LMS), oversees points reconciliation with partners, and ensures fraud prevention and compliance standards are upheld. The position plays a key role in enabling data-driven decisions, managing technical platforms, and supporting strategic initiatives across the loyalty ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports that monitor program health and ROI.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights to business stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Support internal teams with ad-hoc data requests, campaign analysis, and reporting enhancements.
- Forecasting & Data Modelling
- Lead forecasts for member growth, point liability, redemptions, and financial impact.
- Collaborate with Finance to build and validate loyalty-related projections for budgeting and planning.
- Model revenue impact of new campaigns, tier changes, and benefits structure.
- Data Analytics & Optimization
- Analyze member behavior, transactional data, and lifecycle stages to identify retention and upsell opportunities.
- Support CRM personalization strategies through segmentation, cohort analysis, and campaign testing.
- Provide deep-dive analysis on specific loyalty initiatives to inform ongoing improvements.
- Points Reconciliation
- Own and manage monthly/quarterly reconciliation processes with earning and redemption for partners.
- Ensure point balances, liabilities, and transactions are accurate and aligned with contractual agreements.
- Loyalty Management System (LMS) Ownership
- Act as the business owner of the LMS, overseeing configuration, performance, and roadmap enhancements.
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, and business users for smooth integration, upgrades, and support.
- Ensure data integrity and system compliance with business rules and requirements.
- Fraud Prevention & Compliance
- Monitor transactions for unusual or suspicious activity across all loyalty channels (earn, burn, enrollment).
- Work closely with IT Security and Compliance teams to develop and maintain fraud detection frameworks.
- Lead resolution of identified risks and contribute to periodic audits and compliance reviews.
- Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Support in loyalty-linked strategic projects including co-branded credit cards, tier revamps, new market entry, and commercial partner evaluations.
- Support in preparing business cases, and feasibility studies to support key initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants to ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in analytics, loyalty programs; at least 3 years in a data-heavy loyalty role.
- Proficiency in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau), and Excel;
- Experience managing or integrating loyalty platforms or CRM systems.
- Familiarity with fraud prevention frameworks and compliance protocols in data and loyalty management.
