Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated LP Capital Raise / Investor Outreach Contractor (1099) to join our healthcare-focused independent sponsorship team. In this role, you will spearhead efforts to attract and engage prospective limited partners (LPs), including institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, to participate in our healthcare investment opportunities. Your energetic approach and strategic outreach will be vital in expanding our investor base, fostering long-term relationships, and supporting our capital raising initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in finance, investor relations, and healthcare markets within a flexible, contract-based framework.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to identify and engage potential LPs across various channels, including direct communications, conferences, and industry events
- Prepare compelling presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials that clearly articulate the value proposition of our healthcare investment opportunities
- Conduct thorough research on prospective investors using tools such as Bloomberg and other financial databases to understand their investment preferences and criteria
- Maintain detailed records of investor interactions, follow-ups, and engagement activities to ensure a seamless communication process
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on fund performance, market trends, and regulatory requirements such as securities law compliance
- Assist in drafting press releases, investor updates, and other public relations materials to enhance visibility and credibility in the marketplace
- Support the organization of investor meetings, webinars, and due diligence sessions by coordinating logistics and preparing necessary documentation
Skills
- Strong research skills with proficiency in Bloomberg or similar financial data platforms for market analysis and investor profiling
- In-depth knowledge of securities law, financial regulations, and compliance standards relevant to fundraising activities
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences
- Solid understanding of corporate finance principles including financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis
- Experience in equity research, investment banking, private equity or related fields demonstrating strong financial acumen
- Exceptional communication skills for effective outreach, relationship building, and negotiation with potential investors
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation, accounting practices, and investment management processes
- Ability to analyze financial data critically while maintaining attention to detail in all outreach efforts
- Knowledge of press release development and public relations strategies to support brand positioning within the healthcare investment space
