Machine Builder Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Supervisor/Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling various components and structures according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. Duties:

• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLC) for automated processes.
• Utilize CNC machinery for precise cutting and shaping of materials.
• Perform welding tasks to join metal components securely.
• Conduct electrical wiring tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain industrial equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments effectively.
• Engage in assembly and fabrication processes for various products.
• Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills:

• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical documentation.
• Strong welding skills with knowledge of different welding techniques.
• Electrical experience including wiring and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Solid mechanical knowledge applicable to machinery and equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality control.
