Machine Shop janitorial Person

Charles Meisner, Inc. ( a family owned Aerospace company ) is looking for a person to perform janitorial / maintenance work in our facility. Our company provides various services and products in support of the military, aircraft and defense industry. Some of the work consists of but not limited to: sweeping and mopping floors, empty trash, move scrap chip barrels, wash windows, vacuum offices, clean bathrooms, wipe down equipment, maintain coolant and oil levels in machines, document machine maintenance and inspections in log books, empty chips from manufacturing equipment, clean machine filters, move materials to and from machines, maintain cleanliness of back storage lot, keep oil / lubricant storage neat and tidy, assist shop personnel in assembly or handling of various products. From time to time, you might also be required to operate various pieces of machine shop equipment.

Basic requirements:

Ability to multi task throughout the day. You will be moved around tasks as urgency requires.

A self-starter that works responsibly & dependably with little supervision. Another words, help someone when they look like they need assistance and not needing to be regularly told to clean up spills, or dirty equipment.

Employee will be exposed to numerous hours of standing, lifting, and walking. Expect to experience lifting up to 30-40 lbs on a regular basis. Weights over this we expect to use a pallet jack, rolling lifting carts, or forklifts as required.

Employee must wear personnel protective equipment at all times while at work.

Promotes and practices safety in the workplace.

Must fluently speak English & works well with others as a team player.

Exhibits a positive attitude & is open-minded to constructive criticism.

Employee will be screened and verified for work authorization in the USA

Hours: 6:00AM – 4:30PM Monday thru Thursday
