Job Purpose:
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair operations for facilities, supervising a team of technicians, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of maintenance services. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and projects.
Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Oversee maintenance and repair operations for facilities, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.

Assign work orders and tasks to technicians, ensuring timely completion and adherence to service level agreements.

Coordinate and schedule various maintenance activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimal disruption to operations.

Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety risks, and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with clients to understand their maintenance requirements and address any concerns or issues.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics for maintenance services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards in all maintenance activities.

Manage vendor relationships and maintenance service contracts, including negotiating agreements and monitoring performance.

Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and extend asset life.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory levels.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and a customer-focused approach.

Provide regular reports and updates to the Maintenance Manager or senior management on maintenance operations, performance, and key metrics.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in maintenance technologies.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance disciplines.

Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.

Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.

Proficiency in English and computer programs.

Additional education or certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
