We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations across manufacturing and facilities environments. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using schematics, Ohmmeters, and CMMS software.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve automation issues.
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures to ensure accurate repairs.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS systems.
- Lead or assist in supervising maintenance staff or contractors when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams by ensuring minimal downtime of equipment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and experience working with Schematics and Ohmmeters.
- HVAC experience
- Proficiency in mechanical maintenance including welding, residential painting, and general facilities upkeep.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Supervising experience in maintenance or facilities management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team collaboration.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise or mentor team members when necessary.
