Maintenance Technician w/unit

Company information:

Established Property Management Company with over 55 years in the industry, has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Tech. This person must be able to perform simple property maintenance tasks and assist with unit turnovers.

Description of role:

*This role requires the employee to live onsite. You must move into an onsite unit within 90 days once one becomes available.
Hourly rate is $30–$35. After moving onsite, pay will be reduced accordingly to reflect the value of the unit provided.*

The ideal candidate should have a 2+ years background in property maintenance and would be responsible for preparing apartments for turnover which includes: painting, lock repair and replacement, window and screen repair, general repairs and cleaning. Experience in or willing to learn basic electrical & plumbing- installing switches, outlets, lighting and ceiling fans. Install garbage disposals, fixing minor leaks in plumbing fixtures, install new plumbing fixtures, and fix minor backups. Must be able to cooperate and work alongside Co. Vendors. Basic carpentry a plus.

Ability to complete maintenance job in a timely and satisfactory manner & takes pride in attention to detail and delivering a good product.

Tasks:

Work Schedule:

Full time, Monday-Friday, some Saturdays and Sunday's, able to take night and weekend emergency calls, willing to work at other properties as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
