Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Maintenance Worker to join our short term rehabilitation/long term care facility in Jamaica, NY. The maintenance worker will perform routine maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical work, to help keep our building safe and functional for residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and work orders
• Use standard tools safely and effectively
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Trade School Certificate required
• Minimum 1 year of building/plant maintenance experience
• Ability to use standard tools and follow safety precautions
• Ability to receive and follow preventive maintenance schedules and instructions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in a long-term care facility preferred

Schedule:

• Part-time; schedule will be discussed during interview
