Manager - Academic Counselor

The SENIOR ACADEMIC COUNSELOR is responsible for guiding students in their academic journey, offering personalized counseling, and ensuring they make informed decisions regarding courses, career paths, and educational goals. This role also involves mentoring junior counselors and contributing to the institute’s academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one counseling to students regarding course selection, career planning, and academic concerns.
• Guide prospective students on admission processes, program details, and eligibility criteria.
• Assist students in setting academic goals and developing personalized study plans.
• Support students in overcoming academic challenges by offering effective strategies and resources.
• Conduct seminars, workshops, and orientation programs to guide students on educational opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve student support services.
• Train and mentor junior counselors to ensure consistent guidance and support.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Proven experience in academic counseling or related roles.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple student concerns efficiently.
• Knowledge of educational trends and career pathways.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
