As the Manager, Practice Marketing, you’ll join an international, high-energy marketing team where collaboration and innovation thrive. This is a hands-on role at the forefront of driving Bain’s brand and reputation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Contribute to the development of marketing strategies that increase awareness and credibility for Bain and our core solutions, in support of commercial objectives

Develop an understanding of target audiences and key clients; find new and innovative ways to reach them e.g., through events, targeted advertising, speaking opportunities, influencer collaborations.

Use data to develop performance insights; proactively monitor and analyze to make ensure activities reach key client decision makers. Make recommendations for improvements.

Maintain knowledge of industry trends as well as marketing trends, in order to inform decision-making.

Conduct market and competitor research to inform the development and positioning of our expertise, as well as overall marketing approach.

Leverage Bain’s CRM system, understanding the core functionality and the insight it provides into target audiences.

Develop, drive and execute highly impactful, cross-channel marketing campaigns in close collaboration with other marketing teams

Establish credentials with stakeholders and act as an advisor on marketing campaigns

Responsible for the execution of campaigns across multiple channels, leveraging a strategic mix of assets, e.g., email, paid media, social media, video, and in-person activations; have working knowledge of options available, when to use and ways to optimize.

Develop events strategy, including recommended Bain-hosted client events and identification of third party conferences and how we should engage with them (i.e. sponsorship, speaking engagement, etc); includes invites, follow-ups, etc.

Create, update, and maintain foundational marketing assets such as webpages, partner profiles, and related materials, prioritizing relevant and timely updates.

Responsible for deploying email strategy, including selecting content and recommending framing for key audiences.

Measure the results of campaigns and major deliverables through both analytics and direct feedback; present actionable insights to refine strategies.

Responsible for keeping content and campaign information updated and available to cross-functional teams to enable visibility and collaboration

Create communications to promote marketing activities to key internal audiences

Proactively team with Account Marketing, sharing client-centric intel as input to industry, sector and capability marketing strategies

As needed, deploy account-based marketing programs to select priority accounts, supporting must-win opportunities, in partnership with Account Marketing leads.

Assist with the execution of 1:few and 1:1 campaigns across multiple channels.

ABOUT YOU
-
An undergraduate degree in business / marketing
-
6-7+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience is a must
-
Expertise and previous experience in marketing programs and processes

Ability to proactively conceive and suggest new approaches and solutions
-
Demonstrated ability to take a lead on coordinating and executing distinct projects and/or large and regional events, including managing the budget, contributing to objective / goal definition etc.

Demonstrated ability to understand marketing objectives and priorities, as well as content development strategy

Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to liaise with stakeholders of various seniorities with minimal input from manager

Ability to interact with external contacts / parties as knowledgeable Bain marketing representative

Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, and ability to pivot based on input from senior partners

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
- In Atlanta, GA, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $97,500-$117,000, placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
- In Boston, MA, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $112,000-134,500, placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
- In Chicago, IL, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $107,500-128,500, placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
