Role Overview:

Gryphon Academy is seeking an experienced Manager – Business Development to lead strategic partnerships with universities and colleges. The primary responsibility of this role is to successfully onboard academic institutions and facilitate the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for training and placement of students across various programs, including MBA, MCA, B.Tech or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partnership Development:

  • Identify and target universities and colleges aligned with Gryphon Academy’s training and

placement programs.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs

and presenting Gryphon Academy’s value proposition.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential partners, ensuring consistent follow-ups and

tracking progress.

2. Negotiation & Agreement Management:

  • Lead negotiations for MOUs, defining terms, conditions, and mutual expectations.
  • Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to draft comprehensive agreements that

align with institutional needs.

  • Address queries and ensure alignment with college/university representatives.

3. In-Person Engagement & Travel:

  • Conduct on-site visits to colleges and universities to strengthen relationships.
  • Travel extensively, including multi-day trips, to explore local opportunities and expand

Gryphon Academy’s reach.

  • Represent Gryphon Academy professionally in all engagements and promote partnerships

effectively.

4. Market Insights & Strategy Development:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, higher education developments, and emerging

opportunities.

  • Conduct market research to assess competitive positioning, identify gaps, and enhance

Gryphon Academy’s offerings.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on market insights.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, agreements, and ongoing discussions.
  • Generate detailed reports on partnership performance, highlighting key metrics,

achievements, and challenges.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or preferably the same domain

(MBA preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or

related roles within the education, training, or similar industries.

  • Strong understanding of higher education institutions and familiarity with MBA, MCA,

B.Tech, and related programs.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term

relationships.

  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing MOUs/contracts, ensuring legal

compliance.

  • Proven ability to establish partnerships at different organizational levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including multi-day, out-of-station visits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and data analysis tools.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to diverse business environments
  • People having personal vehicle are recommended.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
