Business Development Manager – HBN (Single Phase)
Location:
Delhi, India
Reports To:
Lead – HBN BD & Strategic Programs
Role Purpose:
The Business Development Manager for HBN Single Phase will be responsible for driving business growth, market penetration, and strategic initiatives for Schneider Electric’s Home & Business Network solutions focused on single-phase products. This role requires a blend of business acumen and technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions and achieve revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development & Market Strategy
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the single-phase segment.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to create actionable strategies.
  • Define and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Achieve assigned revenue and market share targets for single-phase products by enabling Sales Team and Partners/ Consultants.
  • Drive sales through direct and indirect channels, ensuring strong pipeline development.
  • Product & Technical Expertise
  • Develop in-depth understanding of Schneider Electric’s HBN single-phase product portfolio, including technical specifications and applications.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry standards, and innovations in electrical distribution and energy management.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and partners for correct product selection and application.
  • Provide upward feedback and discuss with Line of Business on existing products and new product development
  • Channel Partner & Customer Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
  • Implement partner enablement programs and ensure effective engagement.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct presentations, demos, and technical training sessions for customers, partners and Internal Sales Team.
  • Strategic Programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor program performance and optimize for better ROI.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Track KPIs, prepare business reports, and present insights to leadership.
  • Use data-driven approaches to improve decision-making and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years in business development, sales, or strategic programs in electrical or energy management industry.
    • Hands-on experience with single-phase products is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and single-phase technologies.
    • Ability to interpret technical specifications and provide application guidance.
  • Business Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
