Manager, IT PMO

The role is critical for ensuring structured project delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and alignment between technical execution and business objectives. Below is a summary of the proposed role description and key expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects involving software applications and infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements.
• Develop process flows, functional specifications, and comprehensive project documentation.
• Translate business needs into actionable tasks for development and infrastructure teams.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and schedules.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets while tracking risks and dependencies.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide clear status updates to clients and leadership.
• Work closely with software developers, engineers, and QA teams to ensure alignment on deliverables.
• Support infrastructure-related initiatives such as upgrades, migrations, and environment setup.
• Apply strong Project Management concepts and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) as per project needs.
• Drive process improvements and maintain documentation for audits and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, Operations, and other business units.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to bridge business and technical teams.
• Background in software development with an understanding of IT infrastructure preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
