By coordinating new employee training, the manager ensures that staff are not only compliant but also competent in fulfilling the high standards of resident care and service.

The stability and competency generated by the Manager's function are the direct precursors to high resident and employee satisfaction. By administering support programs like the EAP and handling first-level conflict resolution, the manager fosters a respectful work environment. A supported, less-stressed workforce provides better, more compassionate care. A stable, fully trained workforce means less reliance on unfamiliar agency staff, leading to improved care consistency.
