Job Description:
Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s in Business administration (MBA) or equivalent from an HEC recognized University with 5 -7 years of experience in Industry Placements, Employer Relations, Project and Event Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong Academia-Industry Linkage with the focus on promoting and making NUST graduates the premium choice for the employers.
- Acquisition of job and internship slots from industry and handling all activities to facilitate identification and coordination for placement of NUST graduates.
- Identify the relevant industry clusters for each discipline, and maintain industry partners’ database.
- Reach out to the relevant industry partners through meetings, emails and calls.
- Engage Alumni for the enhancement of placement of NUST graduates and students.
- Explore international placement opportunities for NUST graduates and students, including NUST Internship Program for International Students (NIPIS), International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences (AIESEC) and International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE).
- Conduct of placement related activities in suitable venues, including all schools / colleges of NUST and others, including:
- Job Fairs
- Recruitment Drives
- Career Fair / Recruitment Related Events
- Career Talk series
- Branding / Recruitment Activity Pre-hype Events
- Take feedback of students’ performance from industry and apprise/advise NUST management accordingly.
- Maintain and evaluate NUST students’ employment data for Rankings.
- Design, maintain and update NUST Resume Building Application (NRBA), NUST Placement Portal, NUST Internship Program Application (NIPA) and NUST Industry Database Management System Application (NIDMA).

- Possess strong drives to meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Relationship Management Skills, ability to coordinate with industry and potential partners
- Good Analytical Skills
- Excellent Project Management Skills
Terms and Conditions:
- Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics /Professional).
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.
Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply after seeking NOC from their respective parent department / organizations.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
- Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA willbe admissible.
- NUST reserves the right to cancel, modify / terminate the recruitment program due to any reason, without notice, at any time.
