Position Title: Manager – Projects (Design-Build Interiors)

Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu
Department: Projects / Execution
Reporting To: Director/Managing Director
Experience: Minimum 15 years in Construction & Interior Project Management
Qualification:Diploma/B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preference will be given to candidates with interior design & turnkey execution experience)

Role Overview:

The Manager – Projects will lead and oversee the entire spectrum of Design-Build-Interior Projects executed by the company across Tamil Nadu. This role demands a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and operational control to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective project delivery. The candidate will act as the key link between the design, procurement, and site execution teams, ensuring client satisfaction and organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple turnkey interior and civil projects — from design coordination to handover.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure projects adhere to approved timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct periodic site reviews and progress monitoring.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Manage and mentor a team of site engineers, supervisors, and vendors.
  • Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and accounts teams for smooth project flow.
  • Monitor manpower productivity, work quality, and adherence to safety standards.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, finalize work orders, and manage performance.
  • Ensure adherence to specifications and contractual obligations.

4. Quality & Cost Control

  • Implement robust quality assurance processes at every stage of construction and interior execution.
  • Optimize resource utilization to control costs and prevent overruns.
  • Certify measurements and verify bills submitted by vendors and contractors.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, and management.
  • Handle project reviews, approvals, and change requests.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and delivery excellence.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, deviation notes, and completion certificates.
  • Prepare MIS reports and present regular updates to management.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of interior fit-out, MEP coordination, and finishing standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project / Primavera / Excel-based trackers).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven record of handling multi-site, multi-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel across Tamil Nadu as required.

Remuneration:

Commensurate with experience and industry standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
