Key Responsibilities:
- Procure construction materials such as sand, cement, stone chips, bitumen, etc.
- Handle machinery and material purchases specific to road/highway construction.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure optimal value and timely delivery.
- Inspect inventory, monitor stock levels, and initiate reorders.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, stock received, and vendor payments.
- Coordinate with site/store/delivery teams for order tracking and issue resolution.
Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities
- Experience with inventory systems and material tracking
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of road construction material supply chains
