Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential markets, industries, and clients to target for business development opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, designers, contractors, developers, and distributors.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Lead the negotiation of contracts, agreements, and partnerships with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and align with company goals.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's products and services and expand the professional network.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, including sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, and market trends.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 4-6 Years of experience in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles, preferably in the construction materials or building industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
