Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced direct field sales and lead hunting Executive/ Sr Executive / Manager – Sales to drive our sales efforts within the ISP, MSO and Enterprise verticals . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales of networking equipment and services, with a deep understanding of the telecom industry's unique demands with the passion to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Sales: Lead Hunting and Field Sales Visits to customers to achieve sales targets Sales Targets: Deliver against assigned sales targets and product mix targets for the region, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including large-scale ISPs focusing on understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly within the GPON, XGS PON, and FTTH sectors, to offer insightful and competitive proposals.
Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio, including Device Management, Optical Networking Devices, Wi-Fi Networking Products, and Access Network Solutions, and effectively communicate these to potential clients.
Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of proposals and tender responses, ensuring they meet customer specifications and highlight our value proposition.
Negotiations and Closures: Drive the negotiation process with prospective clients, securing contracts that meet both customer needs and company profitability goals.
Sales Pipeline Management: Implement best practices to maximize lead generation, prospecting, and conversion rates across targeted customer segments.
Collaboration with Product Management: Provide valuable market insights to the product management team and contribute to the development of new product offerings that meet customer demands.
Education: ✓ B.E. (Electronics / ETC preferred) / BSc or Diploma in E&C or ETC, or equivalent. Skills:
✓ Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
✓ Proven ability to exceed sales targets and effectively manage customer relationships.
✓ Knowledge of the competitive landscape and current industry trends within the telecom sector.
✓ High level of proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Online meetings with Google/zoom
✓ Proficiency in English & Tamil (oral and written); additional languages such as Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, or Hindi are a plus.
