Job Summary (List Format) – Manager / Senior Manager – Supply Chain Management (SCM)

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, vendor management, logistics, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Manage purchase order (PO) generation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors; negotiate favorable commercial and contractual terms.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply quality and service.
  • Ensure smooth, timely material dispatches and manage logistics to meet customer and project requirements.
  • Monitor logistics operations for cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with regulations (e.g., E-way bills, challans).
  • Lead material planning, stocking, and distribution processes to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Maintain and review stock reports for precise inventory tracking and control.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse and material management.
  • Oversee vendor invoicing, documentation, and ensure timely payment processing in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Generate and analyze SCM-related MIS reports and key metrics for management decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor the SCM team to achieve organizational goals, driving continuous process improvements.
  • Optimize cost, efficiency, and turnaround time across all supply chain functions.
  • Utilize ERP/SCM software and advanced MS Excel for effective supply chain management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to large-scale projects and strategic decisions.
