Manager - Supply Chain Finance Product (Emiratised Role)

The role is responsible for supporting the SCF Product Manager in managing and growing the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) programs and developing new SCF solutions for our clients. The individual will manage client and vendor onboarding and contribute towards the growth objectives of FAB's SCF business globally.

Specific Accountability
  • Support Product Manager in meeting revenue targets and growing the SCF book while maintaining acceptable pricing and risk parameters.
  • Ensure that mandated SCF transactions are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of products, systems, processes, and practices.
  • Elaborate bespoke reports for customers and internal product monitoring.
  • Monitor revenue realization utilization in SCF deals to ensure expected utilization levels.
  • Establish strong stakeholder relationships across the bank and collaborate with network partners to build a robust SCF deal pipeline.
  • Assist with client escalations on service, transactions and operational efficiencies end to end.
  • Proactively manage transactional risk, identify and mitigate fraud, regulatory and compliance risks, and develop solutions for clients.
  • Participate in product skill updates, understand market trends and competitor behaviours.
  • Understand and comply with regulations and internal policies (Credit, Compliance, Operational Risks, Islamic Banking, etc.).
  • Ensure basic understanding of all existing industry channels and train customers on SCF program channels.
  • Work with the secondary market distribution desk to execute secondary market deals.
Frameworks, Boundaries & Decision Making Authority
  • All approvals sought as per the Business Delegation of Authority Matrix.
  • Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships focused on ramping up SCF program utilization.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in SCF product and platform.
  • Self starter, able to handle client and vendor enquiries independently.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills; strong written and spoken English.
  • Confidence and performance driven; able to work under pressure with a delivery focus.
  • Understanding of operations processes, procedures and related risk in SCF transactions.
  • Familiar with the regulatory environment concerning banking and finance in the UAE.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: Degree, Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Communication or related disciplines with Business and/or Management Studies.

Minimum Experience: 5+ years Transaction Banking experience with specialized knowledge in Cash Management Products and Channels, or Coverage Banking experience managing an active portfolio of Cash Management intensive clients. Experience in origination and developing client relationships.
