Study designs, drawings, and technical specifications for hydromechanical components (penstocks, gates, valves, hoists).
Ensure compliance with national/international standards and project requirements.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Manage procurement of hydromechanical equipment and materials.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for timely delivery and quality assurance.
Installation & Commissioning
Supervise installation, alignment, and testing of hydromechanical systems.
Ensure proper integration with civil and electromechanical works.
Safety & Quality Assurance
Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental protocols during site activities.
Conduct inspections and audits to maintain quality standards.
Project Management
Monitor progress, budgets, and schedules for hydromechanical scope.
Prepare status reports and risk assessments for stakeholders.
Maintenance & Reliability
Develop operation and maintenance plans for hydromechanical systems.
Implement preventive measures to ensure long-term reliability.
Team Leadership
Guide engineers and technicians, ensuring skill development and knowledge transfer.
Resolve technical issues and provide decision-making support.
Qualifications
BE/B Tech (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering on regular basis.
Minimum 15 yrs for BE/B Tech and 18 yrs for Diploma holder in PSP/Hydro project with through knowledge of fabrication & erection of different structures (Hydro-mechanical) of PSP/Hydro projects.
