Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and forecast manpower requirements in collaboration with operations managers and site supervisors based on project schedules and scopes.
- Coordinate deployment of laborers and subcontractors for works activities.
- Develop and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate manpower allocation to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor attendance, work hours, and leave records, and coordinate with HR and payroll for timely processing.
- Prior to deployment verify that all personnel have the necessary skills as per the works demnds.
- Serve as the primary communication link between site labor, supervisors, project management, and HR regarding manpower-related issues.
- Track and report on manpower utilization, productivity, and challenges to project management.
- Assist in resolving workforce-related conflicts in coordination with HR and site supervisors.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of manpower deployment, contracts, certifications, and related records for audits and reporting purposes.
- Facilitate coordination with subcontractors and labor suppliers to ensure timely availability of manpower.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in manpower coordination, preferably in civil construction or related industries.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards relevant to civil works.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced project environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and workforce management software is an advantage
