- Develop and maintain purchasing plans to support production schedules and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilize ERP software to manage inventory, track orders, and analyze purchasing trends.
- Forecast demand and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly to minimize excess inventory.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and delivery terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and inventory status to management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production optimization and scheduling.
- Strong proficiency in ERP software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
