Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders and escalate to appropriate level when required.
Coordinate the introduction of new processes and process modifications to ensure smooth transition and operation.
Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, maintenance and safety problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Track various parameters (KPI's) as they pertain to processes and productions and provide documentation to satisfy reporting requirements.
Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
Utilize strategic analysis to find ways to improve the safety, quality, delivery and cost of processes related to product realization to maximize output, minimize cost, and support organizational objectives.
Assist in creating operational budgets and monitoring them to ensure compliance - make capital recommendations.
Develop new procedures and instructions or modify existing procedures and instructions as necessary - implement and monitor those that are approved.
Solicit suggestions from employees, regarding changes to improve processes, safety, quality, and continuous improvements.
Ensure timely training to ensure production and warehouse employees know and are capable in all aspects of their jobs as necessary.
Promote and comply with the quality management system.
Perform other related duties as assigned or as required and manages production schedules to ensure proficient on-time delivery of all customer orders.
Analyze data and determine negative and positive trends.
Support the company's quality and safety policy.
Offer suggestions for continuous improvement of day-to-day operations
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Two plus years management experience in a production environment required
Two plus years of experience in the electrical industry required
Strong leadership, management, communication, and delegation skills required
Strong analytical and process improvement skills required
Ability to read and interpret technical data required
Excellent organization, mechanical and problem-solving skills required
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English required
Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications required
US work authorization without sponsorship required
Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
