The Manufacturing Engineer for combustion parts repair is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity
What you'll do:

In this role you will be the technical contact point between the engineering team and the operational team, the technical point contact between the combustion repair team and the customer, and will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve technical and quality issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lean and cycle time improvements, cost of quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions.

Define investment and expense needs, driving from preparing for approvals to completion.

Review and submit customer condition reports to clearly communicate condition of parts and recommended work scope and final report.

Participate in Lean initiatives and engage lean tools for process improvements.

Prepare standard plan and repair method for components. “Translate the engineering repair requirements into operational processes and make sure those processes meet the CTQs (Critical-to-Quality) as per the Repair Engineering Instructions (REI) as well as the components drawing.

Support employee training on new methods and techniques that support company's global best practices.

Prepare job cost estimate and job cost review to ensure meeting the targets.” Set jobs repair cost and overview the cost of the progressing inspection / repair jobs.”

Prepare and update work instruction and playbook for product line.

Provide technical support to the operation team and look into any non-conformance report and follow up with engineering on technical Non-Conformances Reports from inspectors to resolve issues.

Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance.

Participate in RCA (Root-Cause-Analysis) with the quality team and provide solutions if required.

Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area.

With the Quality Team, drive the quality enhancements in the process, the lean line and the technical documents.

Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing, sales, marketing, and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget.

Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.

Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical/historical base for future reference and to meet customer / end user requirements.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.

Minimum 2 years of experience in gas turbine industry.

Understanding gas turbine principles, and components.

Proficient oral and written English.
