Market Research Intern

The Market Research Intern will work closely with the Business Development team to identify target markets, build prospect lists, and support lead generation through online channels. The role involves researching companies and decision-makers, analyzing market segments, and organizing data to help the BD team run targeted outreach campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research on industries, companies, and decision-makers using LinkedIn, Google, directories, and other online tools.
• Build and maintain prospect databases with accurate company, contact, and qualification details.
• Research and shortlist leads based on defined ICP (industry, geography, company size, services, etc.).
• Track competitors, their offerings, positioning, and digital presence, and share insights with the BD team.
• Support the BD team with data for email/LinkedIn outreach, campaigns, and pitch preparation.
• Prepare simple research summaries, spreadsheets, and basic reports on market segments and lead lists.
• Regularly update CRM/lead sheets and ensure data cleanliness and consistency.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• Strong internet research skills and comfort using LinkedIn and other online platforms.
• Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data entry, filtering, and basic analysis.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow processes, and maintain organized records.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn about B2B sales, business development, and digital marketing.

Good To Have

• Previous internship experience in market research, sales support, or BD is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or lead-gen tools is an advantage.

Pay: Up to ₹6,500.00 per month
