Position Summary
The Marketing & Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and executing content strategies that strengthen the KAS brand, support organizational growth, and communicate the value of high-quality ABA services. This role ensures all internal and external content is accurate, engaging, ethically aligned with clinical standards, and consistent with the company’s voice and mission. The Marketing & Social Media Specialist collaborates closely with clinical, HR, and operations teams to share stories that highlight our impact on clients, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Development
Develop and maintain a cohesive marketing & content strategy aligned with the company’s mission, values, and long-term brand goals.
Establish and protect the brand’s tone, voice, and visual guidelines across all platforms.
Plan and manage the editorial calendar for blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, website updates, video content, and social media outlets (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Content Creation & Management
Write, edit, and produce compelling content that educates, informs, and engages caregivers, referral sources, clinical staff, and community partners.
Create high-quality, compliant content that accurately represents ABA principles and services without making unsubstantiated claims.
Oversee multimedia content production (graphics, short videos, brochures, social posts, etc.) to meet overall and state-specific business needs
Ensure all content is accessible, professional, and culturally sensitive.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
Work directly with clinical leadership to ensure accuracy and ethical alignment with ABA best practices and industry guidelines.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR to support employer-brand content (career pages, staff spotlights, recruitment campaigns).
Collaborate with operations to develop content that supports admissions, community partnerships, and family engagement.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
Manage website content updates and collaborate on SEO strategy to improve visibility and search rankings.
Oversee social media accounts, maintaining a consistent posting schedule and monitoring engagement trends.
Track performance metrics across platforms, analyze content effectiveness, and adjust strategies based on data.
Ensure all digital communications meet privacy and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
Brand Integrity & Compliance
Ensure all content follows regulatory and ethical guidelines related to healthcare, ABA services, and client privacy.
Review and approve content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency before publication.
Maintain brand cohesion across departments and locations.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in content creation, marketing, or brand management.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience managing content across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and email.
Strong understanding of brand strategy and digital marketing best practices.
Ability to translate complex clinical concepts into clear, engaging content.
Knowledge of SEO, analytics tools, and basic design principles.
Experience using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, education, or related fields.
Understanding of ABA terminology and industry standards.
