Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team in executing various campaigns and initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and multichannel strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in marketing trends, excellent research skills, and familiarity with key digital tools and platforms. This is an in-person position working in our Fairfax, VA office.

Duties

  • Assist in developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve website visibility and ranking.
  • Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook Advertising and other channels.
  • Support multichannel marketing campaigns across digital platforms such as email marketing, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics.
  • Contribute to content marketing initiatives, including blog posts, product descriptions, and promotional materials using copywriting best practices.
  • Help coordinate advertising sales efforts and track campaign performance using analytics tools.
  • Maintain and update the company website using WordPress, HTML, and other content management systems.
  • Support product management activities by conducting research on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Assist with marketing automation tasks to streamline campaign workflows.
  • Contribute to print advertising projects when necessary, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
  • Collaborate with the team on budgeting for marketing campaigns and tracking ROI metrics.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SEO, social media marketing, and multichannel marketing strategies.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for content creation and design purposes.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, and email marketing platforms.
  • Basic understanding of WordPress, HTML, and website management.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research to support marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent copywriting skills for creating compelling content across various formats.
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing principles and performance marketing techniques.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools to optimize campaign efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data from analytics platforms for continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment and supporting sales efforts when needed. Pay: $23.74 - $28.59 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
