Marketing Assistant

Join the Magic of the Kansas City Renaissance Festival!

We’re looking for enthusiastic, organized, and motivated individuals to join our team as Marketing Assistants for the Kansas City Renaissance Festival. This is a year-round, full-time position (40 hours/week) offering an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes of one of the region’s most beloved events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound sales and sponsorship calls
• Assist patrons in planning and enhancing their event experience
• Support promotional campaigns and on-site activities
• Help coordinate and execute marketing events
• Occasionally assist with social media content creation
• Support general event operations as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in marketing, sales, or customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Comfortable using a computer and making phone calls
• Reliable personal transportation is required
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or other basic design/video tools is a plus
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Availability:

• Must be available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Evening and weekend hours required during events

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
